Traditions Silhouette Company creates timeless pieces designed around the people, places, and memories most treasured.

All of our silhouettes are completely custom. Each one is drawn digitally by hand to be approved by you. We ask that you send your profile view photos of each individual subject when you place your order. However, if you are unable to it at that time, we request that your photos be sent no later than 72 hours of the completed order. If photos are not received in a timely manner, your order will be delayed and is at risk of being canceled.

After we have received your photo, we will be in touch with proof to be approved. Once approved, we will begin work on your product. Please keep in mind that delays in the approval process, including excessive revisions, could affect delivery times. We expect that our proofs will exceed your expectations but sometimes photos can be deceiving so please make sure the profile view of your subject in the photo is correctly depicted. This will ensure we get it right the first time!

If we have a previously approved silhouette you’d like to use, or are ordering multiple products or prints of the same silhouette, please indicate that by selecting the corresponding field during the checkout process. By selecting this option, you will receive a discounted rate of 10% off your order.

Photo tips- Each photo needs to be taken with the subject at a 90 degree angle (perpendicular) to the camera and at eye level so you can see the entirety of the profile view, including hair. Photos are all sent electronically to traditionssilhouetteco@gmail.com.

I have always had a love for silhouettes but it wasn't until shortly after college that my first silhouette was born. I needed artwork to furnish the walls at my new home and a silhouette painting of my dog was the perfect fit. The piece quickly became my favorite in the house. It was timeless and classic yet personal and meaningful.

My obsession for silhouettes grew even deeper after I started having kids. I have three young girls and at any moment in time at least one of them is in my arms. I stare at their faces as I hold them and have gotten to know their every look and emotion from their profile view.

It wasn't until a few Christmas's ago that Traditions Silhouette Company became official. What started as a few friends ordering ornaments has grown into selling out within a few hours of restocking. I have had the best time capturing so many special sentimental memories and moments. No matter how many silhouettes I create, each one becomes personal to me.
